Terms and Conditions

Physio Network UK

These Terms and Conditions apply to all clients booking Assessment sessions, Treatment sessions, and Online physiotherapy sessions with Physio Network UK.

1. General Information

  • By booking a session, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  • All services are provided by a qualified physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and compliant with Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) standards.

  • These services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you require urgent attention, please contact NHS 111 or emergency services.

2. Assessment Sessions

  • Initial assessment includes a full subjective and physical examination, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning.

  • The assessment may involve physical examination techniques, movement testing, and relevant clinical measurements.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate medical history and relevant health information.

  • The physiotherapist reserves the right to stop the assessment if any contraindications or safety concerns arise.

  • The outcome of the assessment will include a clinical impression and recommended treatment plan.

3. Treatment Sessions

  • Treatment may include manual therapy, exercise therapy, education, electrotherapy, or other evidence-based interventions.

  • Consent will be obtained before each treatment session.

  • Progress is dependent on individual condition, adherence to advice, and general health factors.

  • You may be given a home exercise programme which forms part of your rehabilitation.

  • The physiotherapist may modify or stop treatment if clinically appropriate or if risks are identified.

4. Online / Virtual Sessions

  • Online sessions are conducted via secure video platforms.

  • You are responsible for ensuring a safe, private space for your session with adequate room for movement.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure your device, internet connection, and camera/microphone are functioning.

  • Online assessment and treatment have limitations compared to in-person care.

  • The physiotherapist may determine that an in-person assessment is required for safety or accuracy.

5. Appointments and Cancellation Policy

  • Appointments must be booked in advance.

  • A minimum of 24–48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged in full.

  • The clinic reserves the right to reschedule appointments if necessary.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is required at the time of booking or immediately after the session unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer or online payment systems.

  • Packages or discounts, if offered, are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

7. Medical Information & Consent

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete medical information.

  • You consent to physiotherapy assessment and treatment.

  • You understand that all treatments carry a small risk of discomfort or temporary symptom increase.

  • You may withdraw consent at any time.

8. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • All personal and medical information is treated as confidential.

  • Records are stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Information may only be shared with other healthcare professionals with your consent, unless required by law.

9. Liability

  • While every effort is made to provide safe and effective treatment, Physio Network UK is not liable for any injury or loss arising from failure to follow advice or exercise programmes.

  • You participate in treatment and exercise at your own risk.

10. Changes to Terms

  • These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time.

  • The latest version will always be available upon request or on the website.
